Trump Parc

Hi everyone!


Today we want to present our first uploaded model from our project - Trump Parc Stamford.
It is a luxury apartment tower located in the heart of downtown Stamford. Since it was completed in 2009 it became the tallest structure in city. Because it is a quite new building with a great design, it became a new icon of Stamford, we wanted to get some more information about the tower. Luckily, over a week ago, we successfully contacted and made an appointment with sales representative to meet at the office, which is located on the 25th floor at Trump Parc :-) We came to the office and met a very helpful sales representative, who gave us some brochures and even elevation plans, so obviously really helps creating a decent 3D model. Thank you again!
After we took a small trip to see some model apartments. They are just amazing, nice furnished and the views are to die for...especially the west view, which offers views of NYC skyline! It just reminded me, how close we live to the City. We were also at the 7th floor, where located are the amenities, such as swimming pool, fitness center, lounge, party room and billiard room. When we were there, some workers thought that we are potential buyers...oh well, we are just students! :-) But it was a great visit!

Hello everybody!

Couple weeks ago Google announced the "2012 Google Model Your Town Competition", so we decided to enter the competition and we are happy to say, that we are going to create Stamford, Connecticut! :) Let me introduce our team: 

Dominika Fronckiewicz

Filip Michalowski

Both of us are students of NCC (Norwalk Community College) and we study Architectural Engineering. We are originally from Poland, but we've been living here in USA for couple of years. 

Our plan is to create Stamford's downtown in 3D, which contains the most important buildings in the city as well they show city's character. We would like to create as much models as we are able to make, but of course the quality goes first :) Below is shown a map of Stamford with highlighted areas which we want to make.

We will be posting our progress on this blog, sharing some important information about the buildings we are going to create and of course some info about Stamford. We will be working hard to make a beautiful 3D representation of our city. :-)
